Applications - Compatible with 1994-2004 Dodge NV4500 4x4 29 Spline / 4x2 31 Spline, All NV4500HD models Cummins Diesel or V-10 Powered Dodge RAM,1/2" Drive.
Function - This Tools for remove or install the mainshaft nut. Required for all in-vehicle and bench repairs that involve mainshaft service, including mainshaft fifth gear replacement.
Mainshaft 5th Gear Nut - The transmissions have 4 slot nuts on the output side of the mainshaft to retain the mainshaft 5th gear. Due to the high torque these nuts are tightened to, the correct spanner must be used to remove and install the mainshaft nut.
Material - Made of high standard quality steel resisting rust and impact.
Applications:
Use on Dodge NV4500 4x4 29 Spline & 4x2 31 Spline output. All NV4500HD models with Cummins Diesel or V-10.
A Must Have Tool:
Required for all in-vehicle and bench repairs that involve mainshaft service, including mainshaft fifth gear replacement.
